We are a small hobby breeder and only have a limited number of puppies available in any given year. When breeding, we strive to produce puppies who will be a loving companion in the field as well as at home with the family. Health and temperament are focal points to our breeding program, but please keep in mind these are also physically ACTIVE, performance line Goldens. While they certainly can grow to be your fluffy and lovable couch potato, our breeding and genetics are focused around performance- a high obedience and retrieval drive. This means our pups, like any puppy, need regular daily activity and learning to keep their minds and bodies busy. Behavioral issues can often arise from new puppy owners of any dog breeds that do not understand the importance of keeping their new puppies engaged and growing. Goldens, while devoted family dogs, are not immune to this possibility. However, as long as the time is put into setting up puppies to be successful as they grow, they will return the favor by being a devoted best friend for life.
All our breeding parents are health tested and registered with both AKC & UKC. Puppies are raised in our home with my family and we have parents on site. Puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming as well as vet-checks to ensure that they are healthy prior to going to their new homes. We also provide weeks of socialization and exposure opportunities to help with the transition to their new world that awaits after leaving our home. At 6 weeks of age, we complete temperament and aptitude testing for our pups as well! At time of puppy go-home, you will receive a sales contract with health guarantee, AKC registration paperwork and lifetime support for you and your puppy. Rest assured that we've done everything we can to set our puppies up for a great start to life where they can enjoy many years of making memories with their new families!

Steps to get a KP Golden Retriever Puppy:
1) Please contact us at KPGoldenRetrievers@yahoo.com to tell us a bit about yourself and what kind of puppy you are looking for. 2) We will possibly ask a few additional questions to be sure one of our puppies or our expected availability is a good fit for you. Once approved for our waitlist, you will be invited to place your deposit (via Square pay (fee is attached to all Square pay transactions), Zelle, or check. You will also be sent a copy of our Pre-Purchase Contract for your review. Please return a signed copy to remain on our waiting list. 3) Breeding/litter updates will be posted quickest on our Facebook page, we also post occasional updates of our dogs in training as well as educational pieces and blog entries. We are so excited for this litter! Clipper is an exceptional stud from the Midwest with an impressive gun dog resume. These pups are expected to be VERY athletic, high drive, medium gold/red, and have a "ready and willing" attitude. Prefer active performance homes. These pups will be exceptional at any field work/agility/obedience competition but also a good fit for an active family. Expecting more males than females as that tends to be what Clipper's litters produce. We will be reserving first pick for a pup of this special litter.
